Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning and coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
2. Collaborate with transport managers to develop and maintain transport plans to meet business requirements.
3. Monitor transport operations daily and implement necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
4. Coordinate and schedule deliveries, ensuring on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.
5. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and effectively communicate any issues or delays to relevant stakeholders.
6. Liaise with drivers and provide necessary support and guidance to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
7. Assist in managing fleet maintenance and ensure vehicles are in safe and legal condition at all times.
8. Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements.
9. Conduct regular analysis and reporting on transport performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary action plans.
10. Provide administrative support to the transport team as required.

Qualifications:
1. Proven working experience in a transport planning role within the driving industry is desirable.
2. Sound understanding of transport processes and regulations.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
6. Proficient in using transport management systems and related software.
7. Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
8. A driver's license is preferred, but not essential.
