Workchain is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Car/Van Driver for our client based in Portishead. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations in the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including cars and vans, to transport goods and materials
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe and timely delivery of items
- Load and unload vehicles with care to prevent damage to goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a similar driving role
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Portishead and the surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £12 - £13 per hour
