Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We currently seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Sutton Coldfield. This position has the potentialto turn into a permanent role for the right individual and will involve general yard work as well as operating the forklift trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load and unload goods
- Safely transporting materials within the warehouse or construction site
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock control
- Inspecting and maintaining the forklift truck for optimal functionality and reporting any faults promptly
- Completing relevant documentation and paperwork accurately
- Following health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Assisting with other general warehouse duties when required

Qualifications:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck License (ITSSAR, RTITB or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the warehouse or construction industry
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
