Workchain is currently seeking a Drivers Mate to join our client in Avonmouth. As a Drivers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting the driver with the safe delivery of goods to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping the driver to load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensuring all goods are securely strapped and protected during transit
- Assisting with route planning and navigation
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good physical fitness to handle heavy and bulky items
- Previous experience as a Drivers Mate is preferred but not essential
