Workchain is currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join our client in Reading on a temporary basis. As a Drivers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting the driver with the delivery of goods and ensuring they are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading goods
- Making sure goods are delivered to the correct location
- Communicating effectively with the driver and customers
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
