Working in the warehouse / regional distribution centre of a chemical manufacturing organisation you will:

• Off load and put away deliveries of raw materials.

• Pick and deliver materials to service production and packing departments.

• Collect and put away finished products from production and packing.

• Picking and packing orders to meet the dispatch plan.

• Stock control and inventory management.

• Safely and accurately operate forklift trucks and palletises. (Roles spends approx. 70% of their time using this equipment.)

• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.

• Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner, actively participating in health and safety initiatives.

Candidate requirements:

• In date RTITB licences – Ideally Counterbalance and Reach as a minimum. VNA would also be helpful but not essential.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Work experience within a warehouse environment, ideally with experience or appreciation of working with chemicals.

• Good level of numeracy and English.

• Reliable and efficient team worker.

• A reasonable level of IT skills, previous experience of using warehouse management systems and specifically SAP is a plus

Hours:  2 shift rotation – earlies (6am -2pm) and lates (2pm – 10pm) on weekly rotation. Monday – Friday, 40 hrs per week
