Job Title: Goods In Supervisor

Location: Burton-on-Trent

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with flexibility

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About Us: Workchain Derby is a leading recruitment agency specializing in matching talented individuals with reputable companies across various industries. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Goods In Supervisor for a warehouse located in Burton-on-Trent.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the goods receiving process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in checking and recording incoming shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to schedule deliveries and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies or issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize warehouse operations.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems or procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to warehouse operations.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
