HGV 1 ADR Driver required in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Location: Burslem

Pay Rate: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced HGV 1 ADR Driver for our client in Burslem.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV 1 vehicle in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport hazardous materials in accordance with ADR regulations and ensure compliance with all necessary documentation and procedures.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing techniques are implemented.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Update delivery records, maintain accurate mileage logs, and report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a minimum of 2 years for insurance purposes.
- ADR certificate is essential.
- Previous experience in transporting hazardous materials is highly desirable.
- A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points on your license.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
