Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV 1 vehicles within local and long-distance routes, ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
- Responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and securing of goods in line with industry regulations, including the carriage of hazardous materials (ADR qualification required).
- Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team, providing updates on deliveries, conditions, or any issues encountered during journeys.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and submit it within set deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards and driving regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1 license with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
- ADR license (Classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and Tanks) is essential.
- CPC qualification.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and driving regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
- Flexibility to work various shift patterns, including weekends and nights if required.
