Workchain is currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods to various locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
Pay Rate: £16 to £17 per hour
