Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Chepstow. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. Starting at 6am and working Thursday to Monday. The pay is £17p/h Monday to Friday, £18p/h on Saturdays, and £19p/h on Sundays. This is ongoing work and is with a well know national company. There is no heavy lifting as it is all forklifted off. The requirements for this role are that you have at least 6 months experience driving and no more than 6 points.

There will be a road safety test and induction also.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Transport goods to various locations in a timely manner
- Perform vehicle checks before and after each journey
- Adhere to all road and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
- Good knowledge of UK roads and routes
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail

Pay Rate: £17 - £19 per hour
