Workchain is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Colwick on a temporary basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maneuvering heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in a safe and compliant manner
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order
- Loading and unloading goods as required
- Following all relevant health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure a smooth delivery process
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
