Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Lichfield)

Our client in Lichfield is currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods and products in and around Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all relevant driving and health & safety regulations, ensuring a high level of professionalism and adherence to company policies at all times.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and collection details, maintaining appropriate records and paperwork as required.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team, providing regular updates on deliveries, delays, or any other relevant information.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, following proper manual handling and lifting techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Display a high level of professionalism and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Pay Rate: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour
