HGV Class 1 Driver
Job Advert:
Workchain is currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Northampton on a temporary basis. This role is within the driving industry and offers a competitive pay rate of £16 to £17 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle in accordance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Complete delivery routes efficiently and on time
- Communicate effectively with both internal staff and customers
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
Qualifications Required:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
