Workchain is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Peterborough on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and manoeuvring HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Loading and unloading goods as required
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications Required:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of UK roadways
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
