Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidelines
- Complete vehicle checks and carry out routine maintenance as required
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle activities
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients and the public
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Valid CPC qualification
- Previous experience in a similar driving role preferred
- Good knowledge of road traffic regulations and routes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
