Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Transport a variety of goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Conduct necessary vehicle checks, including routine maintenance and basic repairs when required.
- Plan and organize routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, paperwork, and digital systems as applicable.

- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid and up-to-date HGV Class 1 license (C+E).
- Possess a valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, ideally within a similar role or industry.
- A clean driving record with no disqualifications, excessive violations, or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of current driving regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (desired but not essential).
