As an HGV Class 1 Night Trunker, you will be responsible for transporting goods across Sheffield during the night. Your primary duty will involve ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo to various destinations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods during night shifts.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Follow all relevant driving regulations and maintain a high standard of health and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team to provide updates on progress or any issues encountered.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as fueling, cleaning, and reporting any mechanical faults.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Possess a valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an HGV Class 1 Night Trunker.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of vehicle safety requirements and driving regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well independently.
- Proficient in completing necessary paperwork accurately.
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling and lifting.

Our client is offering an attractive pay rate ranging from £15.00 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
