Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle on designated routes
- Complete all deliveries and collections within specified time frames
- Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with regulations
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays, accidents or any issues encountered

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Possess a valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Proven experience in driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle
- Ability to adapt to varying schedules and work well under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads when required

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
