Job Description:
Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a temporary position based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work within the driving industry, utilizing your skills and expertise to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's transport services.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver an HGV Class 2 vehicle, ensuring strict adherence to all traffic, safety, and driving regulations.
- Responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading goods in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks prior to departure, ensuring roadworthiness and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Plan routes effectively, considering traffic conditions, customer requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logbooks, and any other necessary paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
- A good understanding of current traffic and driving regulations.
- Excellent navigation and route planning skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive and responsible approach to health and safety.

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
