Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver HGV Class 2 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic rules and regulations.
- Efficiently plan routes and schedules, optimizing delivery times and minimizing fuel consumption.
- Load, unload, and secure goods in a safe manner, ensuring no damage occurs during transportation.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle mileage using designated paperwork or electronic systems.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, taking appropriate measures to minimize risks and accidents.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road network, traffic regulations, and driving laws.
- Proven experience and a strong track record as an HGV driver.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact well with clients and colleagues.
- Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods.
