Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Temporary)

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport and deliver goods to various destinations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any discrepancies
- Load and unload goods meticulously, adhering to established safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and driver logs
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving license
- Possess a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Solid understanding of road safety regulations and best practices
- Prior experience in HGV Class 2 driving, preferably within a similar industry
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines, while ensuring the safety of oneself and others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Flexible with working hours, as occasional overtime or weekend work may be required

Pay Rate: £13.00 to £14.00 per hour
