Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating and maneuvering a Class 2 HGV vehicle in accordance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any faults or issues.
- Loading and unloading goods efficiently and securely, following the client's specifications and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Planning and executing assigned routes effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and meeting customer expectations.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork, including delivery notes, logbooks, and other necessary documentation.
- Providing exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.
- Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations regarding vehicle operation, working hours, and health and safety.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK Category C driving license (Class 2) with no more than six penalty points.
- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
- Have previous experience as a Class 2 HGV driver, demonstrating excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to road safety.
- Knowledge of local roads and areas within Birmingham.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and fellow team members.
- A reliable and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and handle time-critical deliveries.
- Physically fit and able to carry out the manual handling required during loading and unloading of goods.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
