Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver 

Time: Starts between 4-6am

Location: Coventry

Salary: £14-£16 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver for our client based in Coventry. The role is temporary and requires a professional, reliable driver who can work independently to deliver goods to our customers throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing daily vehicle checks and recording all defects found.

• Adhering to all road traffic regulations, company policies and procedures.

• Ensuring vehicle is loaded safely and in line with company policies.

• Delivering goods on time and safely to customers across the UK.

• Completing and maintaining accurate paperwork in line with company procedures.

Qualifications Required:

• Valid Driving License with up to date CPC and Tacho Card.

• Previous experience driving a HGV Class 2 vehicle.

• Good knowledge of the UK road network.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

This is a temporary role with potential for a full-time position. The pay rate is from £14 to £16 per hour, depending on experience.
