Yard HGV2 Driver

Yard HGV2 driver required immediately for a leading specialist commercial vehicle and trailer rental company located in Ilkeston. This particular company have been operating since 1878 and support around 6000 vehicles with their Nationwide support.
 

The role

• Rearrange the lorries in the two yards
• Check the lorries for faults upon returning from hire
• Check the lorries for faults before going out on hire
• Driving the lorries to petrol stations to fill them up with fuel
• Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth running of the operation

Requirements for the role

• Valid driving licence with C entitlement 
• Valid CPC and digital tacho card
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience
• No more than 6 points on licence 
• Excellent communication skills
• Safety boots and hi-vis vest 
• Ability to work in a team 

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday 
• 7am to 5pm
