Job Role: HGV2 Driver

Location: Derby Area

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV2 Driver to join our team, working with a reputable road maintenance and servicing client in the Derby area. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile plant equipment on a 26T HGV2 with a gritter, jet blasting stone into potholes.

• Cover areas within a 50-mile radius of the Derby depot.

• Provide support to CSCS laborers who prepare equipment for use and operate working equipment to fill potholes from the back of the truck.

Requirements:

• Valid C entitlement on license.

• Valid digital tacho card and CPC.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hi-vis clothing and safety boots.

• Ideally, a minimum of 6 months' experience driving an HGV.

• Flexibility to accommodate weekend working.

• Maximum of 6 points on the driving license.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Weekend working may be required, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with an enhanced pay rate.
