Workchain is currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Shepton Mallet. This is a temporary position that offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity to work with a reputable company in the driving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all road and traffic regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
