Workchain is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Sutton-In-Ashfield on a temporary basis. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 2 vehicles
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods as required
- Carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Plan and execute routes in a time-efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
