Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate and drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
2. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly to the appropriate manager.
3. Plan and follow designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods to various destinations across the region.
4. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, keeping a strong emphasis on safety at all times.
5. Handle and load/unload goods with care, ensuring their secure transportation.
6. Maintain accurate records of delivery information, including mileage, fuel usage, and any necessary paperwork.
7. Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients, providing regular updates on delivery status or any delays.
8. Adhere to company guidelines for vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and general care.

Qualifications:
1. Valid HGV Class 2 license and Driver CPC qualification.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a similar role.
3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
5. Reliable, punctual, and able to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
6. Good communication skills with a professional and customer-oriented approach.
7. Physically fit and able to handle and load/unload goods as required.
