Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client in Portbury on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Strong understanding of the UK road network and routes
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
