Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Temporary Recycling Operative to join our client's team in Wolverhampton. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in the efficient and effective operation of our client's recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sorting and separating recyclable materials according to established guidelines and procedures.
2. Operating recycling machinery and equipment to process various types of recyclable materials.
3. Assisting in loading and unloading recycling materials onto trucks or containers.
4. Ensuring the recycling facility is kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
5. Assisting in maintaining accurate records of recycling materials processed and collected.
6. Following health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
7. Participating in training sessions and meetings as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Prior experience in a similar role within the recycling or waste management industry is advantageous but not essential.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
4. Physical fitness and the ability to frequently lift, carry, and move heavy items.
5. A flexible approach to work and the willingness to work extended hours or weekends if required.
