Workchain is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for a temporary position in Uxbridge. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Implementing and maintaining warehouse policies and procedures
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring proper stock rotation
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keeping accurate records of all warehouse activities
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
