Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative required for a reputable company based in Burton. This particular company have been operating for over 130 years and are the UK's largest stockholder of steel sections delivering products nationwide. This is an on-going position with the potential for the right candidate to be offered a permament contract with the company.

The Role

• Working in the hand pick area
• Picking and bagging items such as steal and timber components
• Generally picking small items but may be occassional larger item of 25-30kg
• Working in a pair/with other people
• Adhoc warehouse duties

 
Requirements for this role

• Experience working in a warehouse environment desirable but not essential
• Okay with elements of lifting up to 25-30kg on the odd occasion
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and work
• Patience and flexibility
• Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for the shift
• Safety boots and a hi-vis vest 

Hours

You will be required to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid break.
