Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Wednesbury. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately picking and packing customer orders, ensuring products are handled with care to maintain quality standards.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store goods safely.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are properly secured and organized.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assisting with stock checks and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role within the Industrial industry is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (valid license/certification is preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and recording orders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide updates as needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, when required.
