Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Permanent) – Lincoln

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently working with our esteemed client in the Driving industry to fill the position of HGV Class 1 Driver in Lincoln. We are seeking qualified and highly motivated individuals to join our client's team.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Transport goods and materials to various destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct pre- and post-journey inspections of the vehicle, ensuring any defects or issues are reported promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of driver activities, including delivery paperwork and time sheets.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and members of the public.
- Collaborate effectively with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license and relevant CPC qualification.
- Extensive experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably in a similar role within the driving industry.
- A clean driving record with no endorsements or disqualifications.
- Good knowledge of both local and national road networks.
- Familiarity with transport and logistics procedures, including tachograph regulations and vehicle safety.

Pay Rate: £15 - £18 per hour
