Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and company policies.
2. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
3. Deliver goods and products to various locations accurately and within designated timeframes.
4. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods for transportation.
5. Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, such as delivery logs, mileage, and fuel usage.
7. Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
8. Comply with all health and safety regulations, both on the road and at customer sites.
9. Assist with other driving duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

1. Valid and clean HGV Class 2 license.
2. Driver CPC qualification.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an HGV driver.
4. Excellent driving skills and a solid understanding of UK traffic regulations.
5. Strong communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good organizational and time management abilities.
8. Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when required.
9. Flexibility regarding working hours, as some shifts may include weekends and evenings.
