Workchain is currently seeking a Drivers Mate to work in Leeds. As a Drivers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting the driver with the delivery and collection of goods to various locations. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading goods
- Ensuring all goods are safely and securely transported
- Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Drivers Mate is preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Full UK driving license is advantageous but not essential
