Workchain is currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join our client based in Reading. Our client is a reputable company within the driving industry and is looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with the delivery of goods to various destinations
- Loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle
- Ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in a safe manner
- Communicating effectively with the driver and customers
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications Required:
- Must have a valid driver's mate certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
