Workchain is currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join our client's team in Thornbury. As a Drivers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting the driver with the safe delivery of goods to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading goods onto the delivery vehicle
- Assisting the driver with navigation and route planning
- Providing excellent customer service to clients during deliveries
- Ensuring all goods are safely secured during transportation
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential
