PERMANENT ROLE
Our client in Ripley is recruiting for CNC Millers on a permanent basis. This client specialises in a range of industries from oils and gas, subsea and marine and some aerospace. The role will involve machining of complex parts and the machines on site use a variety of controls including Fanuc, mazatrol and siemens.
Key Responsibilities include;
Machining of complex parts in a variety of materials (nickel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, carbon steels).
Programming, setting and operating of machines as required, including prove out of new programs.
Using quality measuring equipment including verniers and callipers
Deburring of components where required
Work to an exacting quality standard to ensure parts are machined right first time and on time.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping to ensure the on-going cleanliness of the facilities.
Ensure that route card instructions are followed and that all documentation is completed to company procedures.
Perform periodic maintenance checks of equipment as appropriate
Proactively identify and suggest improvement opportunities
Qualifications / Experiences
Skilled CNC Miller
Programmer Setter Operator
Be able to read and work from complex engineering drawings
Able to use meausuring tools including verniers, calipers and verniers
Minimum 3 years' experience in a precision machining role
Experience of multiple control systems is preferred (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol)
Experience of relevant industries, Nuclear, Automotive, Aerospace
Experience of working to tight tolerances
Package: CNC Miller
Days - Mon - Thurs 0730-1630 Friday 0730-1230
Nights - Mon - Weds 2030 - 0700 Thursday 2030 - 0600
Overtime available and paid at a premium
Paying up to £20.16 per hour
