Workchain is currently seeking a Laser Operative to join our client in Derby on a temporary basis. As a Laser Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality products for clients in the technical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut materials according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
